Chad Van Meter, DMD, MD

Dr. Van Meter grew up in Frederick, Maryland.  He graduated from Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology.  After serving in the U.S. Army for three years as a medic, he attended Temple University Dental School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Following dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency and a Hospital Fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.  Dr. Van Meter then entered a six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at LSU in New Orleans.  While there he obtained a medical degree, completed a one year general surgery internship, and completed Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency.

Dr. Van Meter is trained in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with special interest in facial trauma, dental implant reconstruction, bone grafting, and wisdom tooth surgery.

Dr. Van Meter is married to Margery, a Jackson native, and has three children: Jackson, Betsy, and Walker.
